TROYE SIVAN BECOMING A SCHWARZKOPF BRAND AMBASSADOR

The 29-year-old Australian will be the new face of BLONDME, the Schwarzkopf Professional colour and care brand for superior blonding.

For Schwarzkopf, 2024 is the official year of the blonde, and this also puts the spotlight on BLONDME, which is truly dedicated to blondes. In a cinematic state-of-the art campaign, Troye Sivan embodies the brand’s values authentically through his own hair story, which has always included “blonde eras”.

His new sun-kissed blonde was created by Schwarzkopf hair artist Jacob Schwartz: “For Troye, I went for something fresh and cool, that kind of 1990s Grunge Dimensional Blonde. I started with traditional highlights using BLONDME Premium Lightener 9+ and in between, I did lowlights to get rid of any remaining warmth. That look works so well for him and his music and with Schwarzkopf you get the results you want: the pigment pays off and the Premium Lightener is amazing, you get a really nice, even lift. That's why I love Schwarzkopf.

“This new hair colour just feels very much like me at the moment. It's about not being afraid to take up a little bit more space, maybe being a little bit louder than I used to be. It increases my confidence. It makes you walk into a room with your head held high. When I think of blonde, I think of confidence, of expressing yourself and I do think going blonde is a statement.”
