Chris Appleton discovered his passion for hair styling at a young age, experimenting with his mother’s hair before getting his first salon job at just 13 years old.
After years of working in London, Los Angeles came calling and soon Chris became the go-to stylist for Hollywood’s top celebrities - Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez and Dua Lipa, to name a few.

Lesley Jennison’s hairdressing journey began at the renowned Vidal Sassoon London Academy, where she became the first woman to hold the prestigious title of Head of the Colour Department and sit on the International Art Team. In the 18 years since, her love for hairdressing and dedication to her clients have remained at the heart of everything she does.
Her passionate command of colour has allowed her to work with high-profile clientele like Gwyneth Paltrow and Elle Macpherson. As well as designers such as Raf Simons, Alexander McQueen, John Richmond, and Vetements. Now as a Global Ambassador for Schwarzkopf, Lesley brings her expert colour knowledge and passion for her craft to create stunning collections and support hairdressers to push their creative boundaries.

Beginning as a stylist at Vidal Sassoon in the creative hotbed of 80’s Manchester, Tyler progressed rapidly up the ladder, culminating in a move to London where he became Art Director at Sasoon’s prestigious Knightsbridge salon.
After six years in this high-profile position, working on seasonal collections and TV commercials, Tyler left to pursue a freelance path, and has since been featured in some of the world’s most fêted international glossy magazines.
Combining technique and adventurous creativity, Tyler Johnston’s work is immediately recognisable which has established him as one of the industry’s most sought-after session stylists with clientele including David and Victoria Beckham, Sofia Vergara, Billie Eilish and Charli xcx.

Nick began his hairdressing career in the north of England, before London and the TONI & GUY Artistic Team came calling during the 90s. Since then, his work has seen him go from Global Creative Director of TIGI International to sitting on the board of directors at Unilever where Nick honed his knowledge and expertise of Art & Commerce.
In 2014, Nick fully immersed himself back in the session world, where his work has been featured in Global Fashion magazines and international advertising campaigns; his ability to understand the aesthetic of editorial and high-fashion hair has made him one of the most sought-after stylists in the industry.
Nick’s relationship with iconic photographer and director Rankin and the team at Hunger Magazine has led him to become Hunger Magazine's Hair Editor, alongside bringing his extensive creative expertise as our Global Ambassador for Schwarzkopf.

Beginning her hairdressing career in the 90s as a rebellious schoolgirl in Derbyshire, Lisa quickly ascended from her local salon to showcasing her skills at London Fashion Week. At just 17, she found her second home in an Afro hair salon, where she honed her craft. Now as a powerful spokesperson for equality and inclusivity, Lisa empowers others through mentorship, advocacy and education.
Her experience includes becoming a global session hairstylist, serving as the Chairwoman of WIG LONDON, Creative Director on the board of the Fellowship of British Hairdressing, as well as the founder of the TEXTURE NEUTRAL movement. Lisa has also worked with renowned artists such as Coldplay, Harry Styles and Kendrick Lamar and her debut collection "Armour" marked a significant career milestone, contributing to her collection of over 24 prestigious awards.
Now as a Global Ambassador for Schwarzkopf, Lisa brings her expertise in cutting, colouring, styling, and texture.

As the successful owner of the Avanti Kappers salon in the Netherlands and as our Schwarzkopf Professional Global Colour Ambassador, Arjan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our Education platform.
