Here, our US Digital Artist Team Member, Danilo Bozic (@danilo.bozic), walks us through his artistic journey, creating this coveted look using the LIVED-IN BLONDE Technique in this premium salon service.
The LIVED-IN BLONDE look is more than just a colour trend; it's a lifestyle choice for those who desire glamour without the constant need for touch-ups. Its popularity stems from its ability to stay fresh and stylish as hair grows, offering a soft blend of shades that seem naturally sun-kissed. Danilo Bozic, known for his innovative approach to hair colouring, finds joy in crafting these seamless transitions, showcasing his skill and the versatility of our products.
To achieve the perfect LIVED-IN BLONDE, Danilo uses a selection of BLONDME and IGORA VIBRANCE colours – the combination of lighteners and toner allows for the creation of a dimensional, luminous blonde:
- Colour 1: BLONDME Premium Lightener 9+ with BLONDME Premium Developer 2% | 7 Vol. (1:2)
- Colour 2: BLONDME Premium Lightener 9+ with BLONDME Premium Developer 6% | 20 Vol. (1:2)
- Colour 3: IGORA VIBRANCE 9.5-4 with IGORA VIBRANCE Activator Gel 1.9% | 6 Vol. (1:1)
Danilo starts with the client's grown-out hair, assessing the existing colour and condition to plan the transformation. Using Colour 1, Danilo carefully applies the mix, targeting the darker or untreated areas.
Working around the head, Danilo continues to apply Colour 1 to the lower sections in back-to-back slices.
Danilo showcases the LIVED-IN BLONDE Technique, using a blow-dryer to further section the hair for flawless colour application.
Continuing the lifting application, Danilo applies Colour 2. This step ensures the lived-in look has a natural, multidimensional appearance, mimicking the subtle nuances of natural blonde hair.
Alternating between the two lightener & developer mixtures, he works to add depth and dimension, building a natural-looking gradient of blonde tones.
Using Colour 3, Danilo tones the hair. This crucial step neutralises unwanted yellow or brassy tones, resulting in a cool, LIVED-IN BLONDE that looks effortlessly natural.
